Solar for New Zealand homes

We install rooftop solar on Kiwi homes from $9,990 for a 5kW system and $11,990 for a 6.6kW system, GST inclusive and fully installed. Most homes pay nothing upfront using green finance, and typical savings run between $1,400 and $2,700 a year depending on system size.

Why now

Three things changed at once

Three things changed at once. Power prices keep climbing. System costs have fallen roughly 30 to 40% since 2020. And in May 2026 the national export limit doubled from 5kW to 10kW, which means larger systems finally export at full output instead of being throttled.

The result is that solar makes sense for more New Zealand homes than at any point previously, and bigger systems now stack up in a way they did not two years ago.

What you get

  • Tier-1 panels and a quality inverter, with real manufacturer warranties
  • A system sized to your roof and your actual power use, not a package

  • 25-year performance warranty plus our workmanship guarantee
  • Monitoring so you can see what you are generating

You will not pay upfront

Green loans from the major banks let most households roll the cost onto their mortgage at around 1% p.a., and the power savings often cover the repayment from the first month.

Common questions

Most are. North-facing is best, but east and west both work. Heavy shading is the main limiting factor and we will tell you honestly if your roof is not a good candidate.
